Trees, landscapes, scenes from life, and animals are this local artist's favorite subjects. Influenced by color and light, as well as the abundance of nature's bounty, Kathe Choate finds inspiration everywhere.

She was born and raised in England and has spent most of her life in Southern California. The English countryside is a particularly fond subject, as well as the local coastline, and always beautiful Carmel-By-The-Sea.

A member of the "Cannery Painters" in Newport Beach for many years, Kathe has studied with several well-known artists. The challenge and pleasure of painting is a focal point in her life, along with love of family and friends.

Kathe proudly donates a portion of proceeds from commissioned works to local animal charities.
